Sussex Birds E-mail Group

I have set up a discussion list at yahoogroups.com to enable the discussion of all Birding matters in the county of Sussex.

Attachments to postings are not permitted to prevent the possible spread of viruses, nor should any virus warnings be posted as the vast majority are hoaxes. The use of any bad language or any uncharitable remarks is forbidden.

For those unfamiliar with email groups: You "subscribe" to the list for as long as you wish, it doesn't cost anything, and there are no undesirable conditions attached. When you decide to leave you "unsubscribe". While you are a subscriber any message which you send to the group address will be forwarded automatically to all members of the group. Recipients may then reply to the group as a whole or to the person who originated the message.

To join the group simply send an empty email to:

SussexBirds-subscribe@yahoogroups.com

Do not write a subject or include anything in the main part of the email..... just send an "empty" email to that address.

To leave the group you simply send an "empty" email addressed as follows:

SussexBirds-unsubscribe@yahoogroups.com

To send messages... once you have subscribed messages should be addressed to:

SussexBirds@yahoogroups.com

You are advised to register with Yahoogroups by going to this URL: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/SussexBirds you can also join the group from here.
After registering you have access to the files area where members may upload photographs, etc, for access by other members.
