A Little Bunting at Old Lodge on Ashdown Forest for it's 3rd day although very very elusive. The bird seems to favour an area along the top path about 250yds from the gate. Although seen well in the morning despite extensive searching the bird was only seen again briefly at 17:39 and again at 18:40

The Hawfinch was in the poplars beside the footpath adjacent to West Park Nature Reserve and the allotments in Burgess Hill at 8.40 this morning. Two Little Egrets have also been seen flying in the direction of the rugby club fields recently

A Long tailed Duck and a Great Northern Diver flew west past Selsey Bill with a Velvet Scoter east
Past Ovingdean mid morning were 2000+ Gannets, 100's of Kittiwakes and Fulmars, 10 Bonxies, 12 Little Gulls, 2 Velvet Scoter, 10 Wigeon, 4 Pintail and 2 Red throated Divers with an immature male Eider on the sea.
At Arlington Resevoir a large Gull roost held just 2 Yellow Legged Gulls, ad and 1st win, and a 2nd winter Mediterranean Gull. Also of note a Drk Goldeneye, 3 Pochard, 2 Tufted Ducks, 10 Wigeon and 56 Great Crested Grebes,

At Climping a moulting adult Whinchat in the crop field next to the horse paddock, 2 Sedge Warblers were also seen here. A couple of Reed Warblers singing in this area, several Swifts movined west and a Grey Partridge flew towards the horse paddock. On the sea, at least 80 Gannets were feeding offshore, 2 juvenille Mediterranean Gulls moved east, 4 Little Egrets on the shoreline, 5 Manx Shearwaters moving east at 8.15pm. 3 Common Terns also moved east and a Little Owl was heard calling from the hotel area

2 Cattle Egrets still at East Lavant from the north end of Fordwater Road
The tristis type eastern Chiffchaff still at Coldwaltham Sewage works and showing well calling much more frequently. The bird was heard to call in excess of 50 times today and it didn’t deviate from typical tristis in both tone and delivery, albeit quieter than on the Eastern Vagrants CD, but quite different from more disyllabic eastern abietinus call on the same CD.
