A Grey Plover over Cattle Hill calling was a site tick for me. Also 2 Brambling, 1 Fieldfare, 2 Mistle Thrushes a Chiffchaff and 2 Goldcrests.

14 Wheatears and 3 Chiffchaffs were the only birds of note on the Ground but overhead was a good day for small raptors. The best being a presumed escaped Lanner Falcon, also a Peregrine, 1 Hobby 1 Sparrowhawk and 2 Kestrels.

7 Chiffchaffs, 2 Willow Warblers, 1 Redstart, 4 Wheatears, 1 Whinchat and 2 Goldcrest on the ground. Overhead passage consisted of a good movement of Meadow Pipits and Hirundines and also included 6 Chaffinches, 7 Skylarks, 4 Yellow Wagtails 2 Crossbills and 2 Jays.

Highlight today was a flock of 22 Black Tailed Godwits that flew east this morning over Cattle Hill. They are the first to be recorded in the area. Also today just 1 Wheatear and 3 Yellow Wagtails with 4 Grey Wagtails and 1 Tree Pipit over.

4 Wheatears on the ground with a build up of Linnets and Meadow Pipits in the stubble fields while overhead there were 3 Yellow Wagtails, 1 Grey Wagtail and a steady stream of Swallows.

Overhead there were 6 House Martins and just a single Swallow. 15 Lesser Black-backed Gulls and 2 first summer Great Black-backed Gulls spent the evening loafing in Greenways bottom with Herring Gulls.

1 Lesser Whitethroat and 6 Whitethroats in the bushes with 10 House Martins and 8 Swallows over. 9 intermedius Lesser Black-backed Gulls spent the evening loafing in a field in Greenways bottom and consisted of 2 Adults, 1 third summer, 4 second summers and 2 first summers.

Fly over birds today were 1 Tree Pipit, 1 Yellow Wagtail, 8 Swallows and 2 House Martins. The hedges contained 2 Blackcaps and just 2 singing Whitethroats.
